Alixe Ingoglia – Owner
Alixe Ingoglia is The Flour Child, a specialty baker ready to satiate any sweet tooth and cover any yummy cravings. After studying Baking and Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu – Pennsylvania Culinary Institute – Pittsburgh, she is currently located in Columbia, PA. She can be found creating tasty goods daily, and to savor her sweet desserts, stop by Bully’s Restaurant and Pub, also in Columbia.
Kathie & Mark – Flour Parents
Alixe’s parents are nothing short of awesome. Momma helps out every single morning with coffee on her way to school at West York School District (GO BULLDOGS!) and can be seen dealing with the crowds on Saturdays. Papa Mark makes his exclusive cameos on weekends as well when he’s not about the country on business. TFC would not be possible without them or their neverending support or help. the flour child can’t imagine a world as sweet without her crazygreat parents.
Mel – Cookie Dough Crazygirl
Mel comes to tfc from the Baking and Patisserie at YBI in York County. She came to extern and stayed to help tfc get stuff done 
Helpful in all areas, Mel makes sure the chocolate chip dough bucket is full and that the French silk is never far from reach. It’s a dream of the flour child to grab Mel and to head west to finally come on down to the Price is Right – they’d kick butt!
Dean – Pie in the Sky Guy
Dean is a recent graduate of direction and filmmaking at Point Park University in Pittsburgh and Columbia Jr/Sr High before that. Dean can be seen helping Alixe at the eleventh hour and rocks at Snickers pie. Currently looking for the perfect opening into the world of movie making magic, Dean plans on heading west as soon as possible. He’s currently a guest appearance, as his busy work schedule takes him to other cities of bakeries weekly.
Kerri – Scone Sensei
Kerri is a graduate from Ursinus with a specialty in keeping Alixe in line and cookie dough at bay. Kerri also works as an editor extraordinaire for all states of writing ability for Orange Pen Editorial. She keeps the shop laughing, the flavor combos inventive, and the flour child’s nerves calmed.
Erin – Decorator Divinity
Erin spends her long days at Ciao, and her longer night at tfc, helping Alixe whip some cakes into shape. Laughter is usually the only sound heard other than funny voices and bursting into song, and frankly, after seeing the awesome work that comes out of miss erin, you wouldn’t want anything different. Erin is sticking around the Harrisburg area only until her heart pulls her onto a plane – but she better not be gone TOO long – Alixe would miss her way too much.
Devon – Chocolate Cake Chica
Devon is a current massage therapy student at Baltimore School of Massage. When she’s not exercising those pressure points, she can be found making a rockin chocolate cake in the tfc kitchen. Known best in house for being a kickbutt storyteller, Devon knows how to make the flour child think… and for once not about buttercream.
Alana – QuickDraw McGraw
Alana is a food enthusiast who is able to make some time for tfc in between her busy work weeks. No stranger to the kitchen, she’s a hard worker, a meticulously perfect cookie baller, a spot-on cupcake lady and super fast at cleaning up after Alixe – a trait which is worth it’s weight in gold. If traits, er… had weight. In any case, a true blessing to the tfc crew.
Kayla – Kaylabon Namesake
The true reason for Sticky Bun Fridays! Kayla and the flour child get in trouble together, but always the fun kind [- never illegally]. Promise. She makes the flour child laugh, and that, my friends, is exactly the reason why I wish she came to visit more!
